NON DOM can defy a five pound penalty to land the finale at the expense of Saborido and Scottish Affair. The selection won nicely on his handicap debut at Windsor on his seasonal reappearance. He ran off a mark of 65 that day and the handicapper will be certain to add a fair few pounds to that rating when he gets the chance to reassess. Connections have seized this opportunity to run with a penalty and if he recaptures his best he will prove difficult to beat. Saborido has run well in both his handicaps this season finishing third on his return and second to Admirable Duque at Warwick last time out. He can once again run into the frame but the handicapper may have him where he wants him for the time being. Scottish Affair won well at Wolverhampton on his penultimate outing but did not act around Bath last time out when finishing nearer last than first and for that reason he should be treated with some caution. Non Dom is potentially very well treated and is given the strong vote to follow up form his recent success.
