A difficult puzzle to solve and Pantherii is a tentative selection. Paul Cole's filly has seemingly not progressed from her juvenile days judged on three efforts this season and the hope is that this drop to five furlongs might just see her involved. Connections have campaigned her over a range of distances this season and she does not appear to be getting home. It is possible she could get taken off her feet in the early stages but if she can lie up, she might just give value seekers a run. Turn And River and Shakespeare's Son are closely matched on their Carlisle clash and there should not be much to choose between them once again while seasonal debutant Red Skipper would be of interest if the market speaks in his favour. Averoo takes a drop in trip after a good effort at Yarmouth where subsequent winner's finished just in front. In a wide open heat Pantherii is selected.
