Roodolph is the pick to get back to winning ways after finding the unexposed Valrhona too strong earlier this week. That was a stronger event to this and if none the worse for that effort Roodolph is the obvious selection. Top Seed races under a 6lb penalty after winning a mediocre contest at Kempton last time and has more on his plate here. Silver Blue found the 1m 4f trip beyond him last time and this drop back to nine furlongs will suit. He does look plenty high enough in the weights though relative to his ability. Vincenzio is unexposed and is another who drops back in trip and encounters this quicker surface for the first time in his career. Market moves would be significant where he is concerned but Roodolph is the pick.
