Very Well Red ran up a sequence last May and may be able to do the same this term now that she's back to her best. Rain would swing the vote San Antonio's way and we'll also be keeping a close eye on Sir Boss. Peter Hiatt's mare has been raised by 3lbs for her pillar to post success at Windsor where she did enjoy the run of the race. However, she stayed on powerfully to keep her rivals at bay that day and can follow up. San Antonio's form is at the top of his game at present but may prefer a stiffer track and certainly needs some cut in the ground to enable him to show his best. King Of Rhythm and Russian Epic have claims but don't make any great appeal and of more interest is Sir Boss. He has only had four starts and his best should still be to come, particularly now that he is stepped up in trip. Rain would probably aid his cause and market support should be noted. Ground conditions appear to come alike to the selection though and Very Well Red is preferred.
