Nag's Wag is immediately raised in class by his new yard but faces a tough challenge at the weights. Fabric and Dynamic Girl lack the consistency to accompany their talent at this level whereas Spirit Of Rosanna is far more reliable and should be in the shake-up. She also has a course and distance success to her name. Yorkshire Pudding is interesting on this first handicap run. likewise Miss Patience but MELONADE is the selection. She hasn't been seen since landing a Newcastle maiden back in March, the form of which has not worked out at all badly. David Barron is a shrewd placer of his charges and the daughter of Mayson will surely improve on that initial run and prove competitive off a reasonable opening mark.
