In what is a nightmare for punters, only a tentative vote goes to Abhisheka ahead of Makderah and Caressed. Suffice to say, the market should be closely monitored here, and any movement in favour of the likes of Oporto, Sindirana or Atali should be noted, but with a low draw in her favour, we take Abjisheka to make a winning debut. The daughter of Sadler's Wells is a half-sister to Lammtarra, and is obviously well thought of as she holds an entry in next year's Vodafone Derby rather than the Oaks. Makderah's dam is related to Nayef and is a half-sister to Nashwan and Unfuwain so is another high-class recruit, while Caressed's pedigree can be traced back to Hellenic, and she is owned by the Cheveley Park Stud as is Regal Velvet, a daughter of Halling. There should be plenty of future winners emerging from this line-up as black-type means money, and today the pin comes down on Abhisheka.
