The vote here goes to La Viola ahead of Madam Caversfield, Zeena and Vracca. Vracca is favoured by the conditions of this race and will rarely get a better chance of winning one, although she has been very disappointing since winning a Longchamp claimer in June. However, La Viola has been running well at this level of late and, even though she is unproven at the trip, seems a safer option in this seller. Madam Caversfield's win in a similar event at Bath on September 8th brings her right into things, although she too is unproven at today's trip. Creek Dancer has been running well at this trip of late and could go well, although ratings tell us she has something to find in order to score, and much as Tanning will be better served if ridden closer to the pace than last time, she too has a good bit to find if ratings are any guide. Finally, the fact that Marcus Tregoning is running one in a seller makes Zeena, who has shown some promise, of interest but, for the selection, we will side with La Viola.
