The shortlist contains Warden Warren, Sweet Emily, Dancing Deano, Lord Chamberlain and Doitnow. Warden Warren bounced back to winning Turf form over course and distance two runs ago and, despite disappointing last time, is conceivably still reasonably weighted on Turf (he certainly is based on all-weather form) and might go well again. While Sweet Emily is a little hard to assess, she is open to improvement and looks to have a race in her. Donya One seemed to improve last time but, overall, is opposable, while Polar Dawn is back to a winning mark and should go well, although a mile seems to suit better. Look Of Eagles improved for a step up to seven furlongs last time, and can continue to build on that. Dancing Deano is another improver that has to be considered. Lord Chamberlain bounced back to form last time and is respected, while Charlie Bear is now dropping in the weights and holds claims on last year's form. The likes of Storm Chase and Balerno are no more than reasonably weighted, and Cayman Breeze seems to be best at Brighton. Fraternity is four pounds above the mark of his soft-ground mile win here, while Divinsky could make the frame if things drop right for him. Vindication is not without hope and Doitnow is very well-weighted based on his winning May form. Finally, Kareeb is always capable of going well at this level. As you can tell, it's a puzzler, with the vote going to Warden Warren.
