This is very tricky and Stokesies Wish is a sporting option, with a number of others, including Manic, Rapid River, Cyfrwrys, Dance To The Blues and Lay A Whisper having been considered. Basically, Stokesies Wish tends to do her winning at this time of year and, given that she is on what seems a reasonable mark and has not lost her form yet, could go well. Perfect Solution is hard to evaluate based on her maiden win, but Manic is now edging down the weights to a fair mark. On her first run for David Evans, you could argue that Rapid River is well-handicapped based on her recent claiming run, while Cerulean Rose is seven pounds above a winning mark but holds place claims, as does Ivory Lace, who is on a winning mark from June 2004. African Breeze has been in reasonable form of late and was hampered in running last time, so gets some consideration, while Tizzy's Law is open to improvement and is just two pounds above the mark from which she won at Folkestone in August. Cyfrwrys is well up to running well, particularly if first-time cheekpieces work on her, and Dance To The Blues can normally be relied upon to run an honest race, even though she is edging up the weights for narrow defeats. Finally, Lay A Whisper could be very interesting dropping in trip, Elvina is lightly raced and could have more to come and course and distance winner Ruby's Dream has place possibilities. Overall, though, we will stick with Stokesies Wish.
