Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Babe Maccool,Scarlet Invader and Lucky Red Pepper and the nomination is given to Babe Maccool. The selection was a fair third behind High Dyke in a similar race last time out and off the same mark here and under her optimum conditions she is taken to regain the winning thread. Scarlet Invader rates the main danger on her best form but she appeared not to stay seven furlongs when a beaten favourite last time out so this trip has to be of concern. Lucky Red Pepper is another that could go well as he was staying on well behind Sea Leader last time without troubling the leasers. This longer trip will suit and he should be noted in the market. Reaching Out has been in good form of late and was a fair second behind Kinrande last time. However he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Wavertree Warrior is another with place claims and is from a yard in form so should be noted in the market but he has been done no favours by the draw and for the winner we return to Babe Maccool.
