This is an interesting maiden but solid form is thin on the ground and it may not be as competitive as it looks, with Meethaaq given the vote to step up on a rpomising debut. Meethaaq came up against a highly regarded Henry Cecil trained debutant at Headquarters on his first run, staying on well in the closing stages. Time may tell that was a good performance and Meethaaq may be the one to go for here. Mushtaaq has looked a shade one paced in three outings to date but has run well in all three races. He looks sure to be thereabouts agiin and Michael Jarvis will have him fit for his seasonal debut. Ed Dunlop's Coin of the Realm was a disappointment at Pontefract last time after a promising debut at Nottingham and he may be best watched. Peter Chapple-Hyam's debutant Inquisitive Look is bred for this trip, by Montjeu out of a staying dam and although he was an expensive purchase, he has no fancy entries at this stage. Meethaaq may be good enough.
