Verdict
This looks a tricky maiden to open the card and from a shortlist of Faraway Sound, Bragging Rights and Northumberland we will side with Faraway Sound. The selection has shown promise on his 2 runs to date and there was plenty to like about the way he chased home Folsomprisonblues. He still showed signs of greenness and he should improve for the experience. Bragging Rights chased home Fathey last time which was a good effort on his debut, but he shapes as though he will be better over slightly further. in time. Northumberland is a strapping colt and he showed promise on his racecourse bow, but he may need at least another run before he is seen at his best this season. Of the newcomers What A Fella makes most appeal, but for the winner we will stick with Faraway Sound.
