Midnight Mystique will not be much of a price but she looks a good bet to win this; her chief rivals are Portrush Storm and Princess Maria. This lightly-raced filly showed promise last season and she then built on that when she chased home Twilight Dawn at Newcastle last time. She looks progressive and she looks the one to be on. Portrush Storm was making her handicap debut when she shaped with plenty of promise at Newcastle last time. This extra furlong should play to her strengths and she can go well. Princess Maria may have needed the run on her seasonal reappearance last time and her yard are in form so she might do better today. Chaenomeles disappointed last time and has a bit to prove at present, and we will stick with Midnight Mystique to land the prize.
