Tom George's Cesium won in good fashion here last month and may not be prevented from following up by a 9lb rise for that success but the much more testing ground may do so and a better bet looks to be BRADFORD BORIS, who gets the vote to gain a deserved first success with the main danger rated as Rosie All Over. Don McCain's mare is a confirmed performer under testing ground and she is better than recent runs suggest so she has to be considered off what seems a fair mark. Richard Guest's Livingonaknifedge has given little sign of encouragement in recent starts and of more interest may be the Venetia Williams-trained Tuskar Rock, who has only had two starts over fences but ran well on the latest of them when a close third behind King Jack and he has every chance having been raised just 3lbs for that run. Oliver Sherwood's Pacco ran well enough on his return at Lingfield in December but disappointed at Wincanton subsequently and he looks best watched now in a race taken to go to Bradford Boris. Nick Williams has his team in good form and the six-year-old has shown improved form of late, running a good second to Sea Saffron at Exeter last month having run below par the time before and he looks worth backing to go one better today.
