COLOUR SQUADRON appears to have frightened away much of the better opposition and his overall form over fences, including a second in the Grade 3 Byrne Group Handicap at Cheltenham, is far superior to these rivals. However, he's still a maiden after 13 starts over the bigger obstacles so caution is advised. Those with chasing experience have shown little, though Show And Go is the type to improve markedly, so it could be Full Cry, a maiden hurdle winner at Clonmel in May but always more likely to do better over fences, who provides the main threat. My Direction won three times over hurdles despite an excellent Flat pedigree so, if he takes to fences, he could go well.
