BALLESTEROS was a well beaten third in this last year but has tumbled 15lb down the weights since. A short-head defeat at Thirsk last time suggests a return to winning ways is imminent and he's well drawn. Mukaynis was not far behind the selection at Thirsk while Blithe Spirit won here on his penultimate start and is 4lb higher today. Kimberella went close over 6f at Ripon last week and won over 5f at York last month but recent Nottingham runner-up Barracuda Boy has a high draw to contend with and Deauville Prince is preferred.
