In depth

Verdict

Successful in a point and placed twice in bumpers this summer, LETS GO SUNSHINE is also on an upward curve over hurdles judged on his close-up second at Downpatrick on Monday. Providing he has made a full recovery from those exertions, he can go one better here. Coolavanny Gaffer has also won between the flags and caught the eye on both starts over timber. This big step up in trip should play more to his strengths and he looks a danger as does Substitute, runner-up over 2m6f here last month when elevated to handicap company. Molinero was second over 2m at Galway last week but is a long-standing maiden who rarely runs two races alike nowadays.
