A competitive qualifier in which The Fifth Member, Russki and Premio Loco all make some appeal and the latter is the tentative suggestion. He made giant strides last season and defeated the well regarded Big Noise on his final start of the campaign when having his first outing since May. He's had a truncated campaign this year as well having had only the one outing to date but looks to retain all of his ability. He also looks in need of a trip now and this return to racing over a mile can bring a return to winning ways. Russki failed to land a blow at Chester last time but he has won four of his six starts on the all-weather including three here and he won well enough in April to think that the handicapper may not have got to him just yet. The Fifth Member is another that has been progressing really well of late and although he has gone up in the weights and is stepping up in class there are sufficient reasons to believe that he can hold his own here. Rose Street is of obvious interest but she has been off the track for some time and both starts have been over ten furlongs so there's reason to believe that she could find this trip on the sharp side. She's well worth a market check but at this stage of proceedings Premio Loco is preferred.
