Berry Baby can gain a deserved success at the main expense of Mista Rossa and Carmela Maria. Gerard Butler saddled a big winner in Baharah last week and he can gain another success at a less exalted level courtesy of his daughter of Rainbow Quest. She was heavily backed prior to her reappearance but was given too much to do and was again doing all of her best work at the finish last time. A 2lb rise looks lenient, the longer trip will suit and a more positive ride should pay dividends. Mista Rossa was another that finished fast and late over this course and distance last time where he had Vilna a couple of places behind; that was a decent effort and he has to be feared racing from the same mark. Testimonial may improve now handicapping in blinkers whilst Politeia is also worth a second look but Carmela Maria may pose a bigger threat following a fair effort on her handicap bow at Yarmouth. She may not have been entirely at ease on the fast ground that day and has scope for further improvement but we expect the finish to be fought out by Mista Rossa and Berry Baby with marginal preference for the latter.
