Rezzago is a consistent performer and should again be thereabouts but Walter Swinburn's gelding may, once more, have to settle for a minor role and a better bet looks to be Tanforan, with Linda's Colin rated the best of the rest. The selection has shown much more like his best form since being returned to the all-weather in his last two starts and, over a more suitable trip today, gets the vote under Jamie Spencer. Littleton Telchar lacks any experience of the surface and may be best watched on his all-weather debut and of more interest may be Irish raider Hello Man, especially now that he steps up to a more suitable distance. Clive Brittain's Ribh is less exposed than most of these and cannot be discounted although of more interest may be Linda's Colin, who is better than he showed at the end of the turf season and has now slipped to a fair mark for his return to sand. Tanforan has solid claims though and he is preferred.
