      Verdict

      First Buddy gets the call here ahead of Star Party and Milliegait. Banty Bere's form was given a boost by Sharpazmax's win at Lingfield on Saturday so he should be considered, but First Buddy was three-parts of a length in front of him in that race referred to and, with the extra furlong likely to suit, he looks to be a leading player here today. Geordie's Pool has shown some promise in two starts, although The Fifth Member holds her on recent course and distance form, and Star Party can improve on her promising course and distance return last time, so her chance is respected. Finally, Milliegait's Newcastle maiden second affords her respect but, for the selection, we will stick with First Buddy.
