The stats say that MILLFIELD will need just about a career-best effort to win this and we will side with him to produce it, while Lucy Brown and Defector are among potential dangers. The Patrick Chamings-trained selection is rated 74 after winning going away here last time, and although he has taken a handicap off 81 some four years ago, every other success has come from lower pitches. Even so, the stable is flying at present and this six-year-old has won two of his last three and was runner-up in the other, so he might just be able to add another victory to his already impressive strike rate for one in this sphere. Lucy Brown is stepped back up in trip after her last four starts were at 6f, a distance over which she scored at Salisbury in August. She is now 7lbs higher and may struggle to add to that tally on recent evidence. Course and distance scorer Defector is now 4lbs higher than when winning a little over a month ago, but there should not be much between he and the selection, while Caprio likes it here and is in-form, although keeps finding one too good and remains vulnerable again tonight. King's Colour was beaten from today's mark over a mile here last time when enjoying a good draw, and Ursula should again be competitive after running well when tried over this trip for the first time at Wolverhampton, though Dubai Meydan probably needs a drop in the weights. Millfield gets the nod.
