Coda Agency is selected ahead of Lorikeet and Featherlight. David Arbuthnot's charge is better known these days under the national hunt code but he is perfectly adequate on the level and while his recent win came over 12 furlongs at Southwell, this step up to two miles should hold few fears. Lorikeet faces a tough task under top weight. His recent runs have demonstrated a degree of consistency but ten stones will take plenty of carting over the trip. Featherlight is a course-and-distance winner. Hailing from a stable that like a punt, the market is watched in order to gauge whether they are on tonight. Brigadore makes a belated first appearance on the artifical tracks. Kick and Prance hasn't shown too much of late and is probably best under positive tactics. Mister Completely is a consistent enough sort over two miles and can never be ruled out over his favourite trip. Plenty of possibles and we like Coda Agency.
