Emperor Court is preferred to Dinner Date and Lord Theo. Peter Makin looks to have a progressive sort on his hands and with Seb Sanders maintaining the partnership, a 6lb rise in the weights should not be enough to stop him. Dinner Date has gone up 4lb for his recent success. He has won over this trip before so there are no problems on that score. Lord Theo has dropped significantly down the weights. He appeared to get the trip last time out so is worth another chance at it. Chia has become something of a Wolverhampton specialist and takes an away day here. Steig has looked a tricky ride in the past and connections are taking no chances with the booking of Chris Catlin. Steely Dan has reportedly had leg problems but that didnt stop him delivering the goods at 20/1 in a claimer at the track. This looks a tougher assignment. Emperor Court could be well treated at the moment and we side with him to go in again.
