Diamond Twister looks the pick of John Best's two runners in the race over Sapphire Prince following his recent second to Red Suede Shoes here over a mile but it is hard to get away from BURMA ROCK, who can open his account. Luca Cumani's colt has often flattered to deceive including in handicaps but was doing his best work late on over an extended nine furlongs in a Wolverhampton maiden last time so the likelihood is that there will be more to come over this slightly longer trip and he looks worth one more chance. Hugh Morrison's Heritage Coast has run to a consistent level of form and looks reasonably well treated back in handicaps following his maiden win at Chester, while Lyra's Daemon will need to step up on her recent run at Leicester to trouble the judge but that was her first start since May. Richard Hannon's Lush is better than she showed at Wolverhampton last time and cannot be discounted but he is inconsistent and of more interest may be Master Fong, from the stable of Barry Hills. The son of Doctor Fong is only 2lbs higher than when successful at Sandown in August so looks well enough treated and he has to be respected but preference is for Burma Rock, who can gain an overdue success.
