Blow Hole is a potential blot on his handicap debut however Royal Island was impressive last time and despite different conditions he is fancied to win again. Mick Quinlan has booked Jamie Spencer for the ride today once again and that catches the eye. The horse has top-weight to carry but the pair got on really well last time at Chepstow and they can follow up today with this surface no problem. Dickie Le Davoir ran well last time at Hamilton and is quickly turned out, whilst Adantino was poor last time and has something to prove. Namid Reprobate and Landucci are both course and distance winners, whilst Sovereignty is well-drawn and a threat to all on recent efforts. As a three-year-old All In The Red gets a handy weight allowance, however the biggest dangers could be Don Pietro and Blow Hole. The former is one to monitor carefully in the betting, whilst the latter makes his handicap debut off a mark of 72 and the drop in trip looks a good move for this Noseda inmate who is related to plenty of winning sprinters. A tough race, but Royal island is taken to win again.
