Lemonesse is a likeable filly and is worth siding with in a race of this nature. Full Marks and Starfala also take the eye as ones to keep on the right side. Starfala should be suited by going right handed this time and, as she now races over a more appropriate trip, she has to merit plenty of respect. She was three-parts-of-a-length ahead of the selection last time out and is likely to make a bold bid again tonight. Full Marks may have needed the outing on her reappearance and is likely to be a lot sharper this time. Jeremy Noseda's runners have been performing with credit since the Newmarket-based handler reopened his yard, so it is not unfeasible to expect a bold show from their representative here. However, Lemonesse makes a touch more appeal at the likely odds. It would come as no surprise to see Henry Cecil's filly ridden with a little more restraint this evening and, as she has a proven willingness to battle, Lemonesse gets the nod here.
