Ordinary fare and Gassal is given another chance to get off the mark. Daddy's Gift and Deyas Dream can be fancied to make this a good test, while Aegean Warning is closely matched with the selection and cannot confidently be ruled out. Deyas Dream was in behind a couple of useful looking individuals last time out and was far from disgraced. She is not unduly burdened for this handicap debut and a big run can be expected from Andrew Balding's filly. Daddy's Gift created the impression this trip would suit in each outings before she won a maiden at Lingfield in June. The daughter of Trans Island was not beaten far in a nursery at Newmarket 13 days ago and, with that experience to draw from, the top weight should not be ignored. However, Gassal is worth another throw of the dice in this company. The step up to seven furlongs suited her well last time out and, as she coped well with the demands of the track; Gassal has a solid chance of making this a profitable return to Kempton.
