    Verdict

If he's trained on from two to three then this conditions race looks a great opportunity for MIDDLE CLUB to score and on these terms we'll take that chance at the expense of Kinky Afro and new-comer Velikiy Zevs. After showing plenty of promise in his first two runs as a juvenile the selection then confirmed most of that potential when only finding a Group Class horse the one too good in a listed contest on his last start. The form was given a further boost with him beating a Group Three winner home that day and although this surface is an unknown on these terms it's worth chancing. Kinky Afro has plenty to do at the weights but his yard is in form and he was a very easy winner last time to complete back-to-back victories. Velikiy Zevs looks the pick of the Mark Johnston newcomers based on jockey bookings and any market support for him or stable-mate Hemera would be interesting but if up to his two-year-old form Middle Club should go in with some ease.
