A tricky handicap can go to Springtime Romance, who does not have too much to do in proving the official assessor right in assuming that she is the top-rated filly in the race. Florida Heart, Sunisa and Estimate are others that cannot be ruled out of reaching the frame and preferred over the frustrating Gretna as the one to give the selection the most to do. The first named of that duo is still open to improvement but has yet to win a race on turf and appears to need a little cut in the ground to be seen at her best. Whereas Estimate is a versatile performer regarding the ground but, like a few of the rest, she was below-par last time and now has a little to prove. Which may leave Florida Heart to provide the selection with the sternest test. The daughter of First Trump did well to finish fourth in a similar race on her reappearance but, with rain predicted, the ground has to be the issue with this top-of-the-ground filly. Which brings us back to Springtime Romance, who is open to far more improvement than the rest of the field tonight. The fact that all ground seems to come alike to Springtime Romance is also a big plus for her chance - which is further boosted by the booking of Kieren Fallon, who has a 37% strike-rate when riding for the yard this season.
