In depth

Verdict

Hypoteneuse gets the confident vote in this maiden with Salsa Verdi and Montjeu's Melody rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Latanazul last time out, that form looks rock solid in the context of this race and he need only run up to that mark to win this with plenty in hand. Salsa Verdi rates the main danger as she is a filly by Giant's Causeway out of Cape Verdi and will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish so she should be watched in the market. Montjeu's Melody was third behind Jamboretta last time out and is another with place claims but he will be handicaped after this run and that is where his future may lie. Of the remainder Tebee has ran with promise in the past but may be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time and with this in mind for the winner vwe are happy to return to Hypoteneuse.
