A tricky enough race for punters and one in which we will side with JORDAURA to get the better of Street Power and We Have A Dream. As last-time winners the latter pair are much respected. Street Power, in fact, chases a hat-trick after success at both Ascot and here over both six and seven furlongs. He is up 6lbs for the most recent of those successes and will find this a pretty testing assignment as a result. We Have A Dream is raised 3lbs for a narrow margin Ayr win over this trip and given that he has twice been known to back-up a success he is very much one to consider from a mark he has eclipsed in the past. Rondeau should be better for this return to 6f after an abortive first attempt over the minimum and he still looks fairly treated, though the yard is not red hot. Brunelleschi gets on well with his pilot but keeps going up in the weights for not winning, which is always a concern, while Bel Cantor went close from this same mark at Windsor and is one from two here so a big run would be no surprise. River Kirov goes well here but looks in need of a favour from the handicapper, as does Kyle, and preference is for Jordaura. Walter Swinburn's colt is lightly-raced and still open to improvement. Backers have to be prepared to forgive him a disappointing effort at Lingfield last time, but he may not have handled the track there. He certainly handles it here and after a break we expect to see a much more positive run, so he gets the vote.
