In depth

Verdict

We end things with a open looking handicap and although we like the look of King Of Defence after his success last time we're going to bank on this longer trip helping MUSICAL SCRIPT to get home, after looking good in the finish last time, and Cativo Cavallino should also feature. A course and distance winner in the past the pick was finishing strongly over a shorter trip here on his latest run. He beat home a subsequent winner that day and off the same mark he might just have enough track this time to get home in front. King Of Defence also stayed on nicely to land victory against similar opposition last time out. His four pounds mark rise seems fair enough and in his current mood can't be ignored. Cativo Cavallino is weighted to be closer to the selection after finding that one too good on their last meeting he also goes well at this venue. Fault looks in need of a ratings reprieve despite only being two pounds heavier than his last win so if finishing as well as he did last time Musical Script should make good use of the extra yardage.
