In depth

Verdict

Mark Johnston could also land division two of the maiden for the same owner as we give his progressive EGYPTOLOGY the vote ahead of Brain Meehan's Libertino and Michael Bell's Hypnotized. Expected to go better on his second run the pick nevertheless still improved and given his decent pedigree and his trainers record at getting his charges to progress we feel it could be third time lucky, especially if the market speaks in his favour. Libertino took big strides on his second run last time finding just one too good the form from that race looks weak but if continuing on the upward curve he can go in. It could be argued that Hypnotized took a slight step backwards last time but has shown enough to two starts to be considered a leading player and Aktia could also show us a bit more after holding his form in two outings. This looks very competitive but we¿ll take Egyptology to improve again.
