Godolphin had more than a few setbacks last week, so Ballinteni could be worth taking on, and with that in mind we look to Tommy Toogood as the answer, with Cross The Line, Celebration Song and Fajr just a few more in with a shout. Tommy Toogood made an immediate impact on his Polytrack debut in March, drawing clear for a comfortable success over Picture Show, but was then put in his place by Polliwilline at Windsor the following month. Off the track since, he returns fresher than most and with the scope to progress. Cross The Line has been kept a lot busier and always goes well here, indeed he was successful over the course-and-distance in July. More recently, he lost nothing in defeat to Mark Johnston's lowly-weighted filly Coalpark here 12 days ago, and a similar effort should see him go close as well. Celebration Song is owned by the Kempton Park Punters' Club so will be primed to give a good account no doubt, while Fajr's purple patch ended here in May when he went left at the start, and he is of interest back up in trip. Ballinteni won a soft-ground maiden on his Doncaster debut in October 2004 and has not been seen since. Given the numerous defeats of his various stablemates last week, he cannot be put forward with confidence, and so Tommy Toogood is saddled with the vote.
