Princess Taylor gets a narrow vote over Kon Tiki, with Helhareer, Folly Lodge, Red Spinel and Tinnarinka all worth noting. First-season trainer Marco Botti has already made his mark, having sent out Sesmen to land the Group 3 Prestige Stakes at Goodwood last month, and the young Italian should pay to follow with his astute placing of his inmates. The Newmarket handler reckons that Princess Taylor was somewhat unlucky here 17 days ago, as she did not appear to get the best of luck in running, and although a mile would really be preferable, she should go close today. Kon Tiki is coming along steadily and hails from a top American family so should handle the surface, while Helhareer's trainer has a strong team of juveniles. Folly Lodge shaped well on her Newmarket bow behind So Sweet, and Tinnarinka stayed on from the rear on her first start here, but would prefer a mile by the looks of it. Red Spinel will probably need the experience, and all in all, we feel that it is worth taking a chance with Princess Taylor.
