        Verdict

        TOWY VALLEY is given the vote in the opener over Grimes Faith and Step It Up. This 4-year-old filly from the Clive Cox yard won well last time when she beat War And Peace over today's course and distance. She is lightly-raced so there should be more to come and from a good high draw she can get her head in front again. Grimes Faith has won his last two races in good style and there was plenty to like about the way he beat Blue Tomato last time. He is another that is well-drawn, and although he is exposed compared to our selection he should run him close. Step It Up will need to do just that to win this but the yard are in cracking form and he did shape with plenty of encouragement when last seen out. Storey Hill is a course and distance winner but he has been a bit disappointing of late and we will stick with the progressive Towy Valley as the pick.
