TARKAMARA has been running consistently well just lately and can get her head back in front here, while Just Jimmy and The Graig look to be the challengers. The selection was a Lingfield winner over this trip last month from a 5lb lower mark and has performed well in three subsequent defeats, including when almost getting up to win at Great Leighs last time. She can gain reward for that consistency here. The Graig is a maiden after 19 starts but ran well in context at Wolverhampton last week and if he can reproduce that effort over this trip then he would be a player. Just Jimmy caught a tartar last time when nine lengths second to Highly Regal, who may by now have given the form some sort of boost in the opening division of this handicap. On the face of it though this gelding is thoroughly exposed, though he does at least represent a yard going well. Very Well Red meets the selection on the same terms as when a length adrift of him last time and there is no obvious reason why she should reverse the placings, while I Certainly May is 2lb higher than when putting up his best effort for a long time at Lingfield, but is a maiden after 23 starts and is easy enough to take on. Tarkamara is the one for us.
