Plenty of the usual suspects and CIRCLE DANCE can get off the mark with War And Peace and Towy Valley the others to make a degree of appeal. Owned by racing broadcaster, Simon Mapletoft, the four-year-old had shown a degree of ability in Ireland when trained by Mick Halford and he will be coming into this race off the back of a fair second behind Changing The Guard at Great Leighs. The only worry has to be the trainer's recent form. War And Peace is exceedingly well bred. He clearly isn't as useful over five furlongs as his mother was. He has chances if handling the drop back to five. Towy Valley has proved very expensive to follow. Clive Cox seems hopeful that her raw speed will prove more helpful over six rather than five furlongs. Edith's Boy has a good draw to work from this afternoon so there should be few excuses on that score. North South Divide is tried in first time blinkers. The booking of Luke Morris suggests that Captain Flasheart is one to note in the market. Circle Dance makes most appeal in a race that won't take a lot of winning.
