Samuel Charles is the preference ahead of Desert Dreamer and Raza Cab. The selection seems to be as effective over seven furlongs as he is over nine and was certainly not stopping when successful at Wolverhampton last time out. This is tougher but he is genuine enough. Desert Dreamer is respected from a yard that are running well at present. The hold-up performer won well at Brighton although he does have a little to find if his form on artifical surfaces is brought into the equation. Raza Cab has ran creditably outside of this grade over tonight's trip. He would have to be a big player if the form of his recent turf outing is ignored. Ceredig finally got off the mark after many attempts but looks hard to fancy against better horses. Crafty Fox appears to best of the Alan Jarvis battalion if jockey bookings are to believed although his better form has obtained at Southwell and Lingfield in the past. The BHB figures would put the maiden, Amazing King, in with chances so a cursory glance at the market is advised. Silver Blue is another to consider as he has raced off much better company in the past. Samuel Charles is at least proven on the surface and as he is still maintaining his form, we nominate him as the selection.
