Dvinsky is as tough as old boots but he has to give weight away to some smart horses in the shape of LORD FIDELIO and Milne Bay with preference for the former. Andew Balding's gelding was a tad disappointing here last time out in a competitive handicap that has worked out well. He may not be the best-handicapped hence the drop in grade but he has plenty of ability and his good course form makes him a solid choice. Milne Bay disappointed last time out and needs to improve for the return to this trip, Trade Centre swaps the cheek-pieces for the blinkers, whilst Kipchak is consistent but he is unlikely to get his own way out in front today. A rival for the pace is Dvinsky who shouldn't mind the step back up in trip, whilst Carmenero may fare better now dropped in grade. Straight Face isn't straightforward but along with Mocha Java he has a good chance at the weights, but in a competitive claimer it is Lord Fidelio who is preferred.
