Tarseekh is usually thereabouts at this level though his earlier success came over 6f and he found BRIGAND too good over today’s trip at Chelmsford in July. The latter hasn’t raced since but is only 3lb higher and Oisin Murphy keeps the winning partnership intact. Several have been threatening with recent placed efforts but Independence Day’s third at Yarmouth came over the minimum trip and Cauthen is preferred on last month’s second at Wolverhampton. Arctic Flower and Master Poet have both gone close in soft ground on Turf recently only to disappoint on their latest starts.
