Verdict

BENI LIGHT made a winning start for a new yard when successful in a higher grade chase over 2m4f at Uttoxeter. This longer trip should not be a problem for the dual point-to-point winner and David Rees’ charge can defy a penalty. Master Sunrise scored over track and trip in July but finished a long way behind the winner at Stratford last time while Stage One was no match for an easy winner at Fontwell recently. Phoenix Rock has a shout on recent placed efforts at Southwell and Water Wagtail is not badly treated on his best form though hasn’t won since 2017.
