Verdict
Winged Farasi has dropped to a competitive mark but Lordswood is taken to land this prize, confirming his superiority over Jessica Wigmo in the process. Lordswood had a length and a quarter to spare over Tony Carroll's charge at Lingfield and can confirm that form despite meeting the runner-up on 5lb worse terms. The selection was a shade unfortunate not to win over this course and distance last time when ridden by an inexperienced claimer and, with Hayley Turner back in the saddle, can make amends here. Winged Farasi has dropped 18lbs since the start of last season but was held from this mark last time and still only has one win to his name. Batchworth Blaise shaped with more encouragement last time but she will need to build on that if she's to trouble the selection, Lordswood.
