Stoneacre Donny is taken to complete a quick double with Double Valentine and Noddledoddle perhaps capable of giving him most to do. Stoneacre Donny has been brought along steadily and had shaped well at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start. He proved that that run was no flash in the pan by sluicing up over this course and distance on Friday and can complete a quickfire double. Double Valentine has won over this trip and is in fair form but has been running lately as though she ideally prefers further and she could find the winning line coming too soon. Noddledoddle ran one of her better races last time, thus putting herself in the frame, but she has been tried without success over a variety of trips and is easy enough to pass over. So, for the winner, we come back to Stoneacre Donny.
