    Verdict

Howdigo has a live chance of finally getting off the mark in tonight's opener, Vigano and Jasoora are serious threats, while Danse The Blues is an interesting newcomer and is very much one for the future whatever happens. Danse The Blues is obviously a late maturing type, though. And, as she is bred to be effective over slightly further, she may be one to simply takes note about here. Jasoora has plenty of winners in her bloodlines and it will be disappointing for her connections if she cannot win a race at some point. The Mark Of Esteem filly does need to start improving though and she may be better-off in handicaps after this. Therefore, it can pay to stick with Howdigo, whose consistency can at last gain a reward tonight. John Best's colt is versatile regarding the trip and, although exposed, he can be relied upon to try his heart out and is expected to be the one they will all have to get past.
