In depth

Verdict

Once again a very competitive 9 furlong affair with the likes of Toldea, Ridge Boy, Rainbow World and Pella all in good form and all capable of winning, but the vote goes to Johannian. Milton Bradley has yet to get the best out of this 6 year old this season but his run behind Little Englander at Nottingham last time out proves that this horses is coming to himself and is worth sticking on the right side of him. True he does not win very often but he was at one time thought good enough to run in Listed company and although he has top weight to carry he has slid to a handy mark and is more than capable of winning off it. Toldea has been in consistant form of late knocking on the door at both Kempton and Bath recently and it will only be a matter of time before he enters the winners enclosure. Ridge Boy did just that at Windsor last time when beating Rosacara by a short head and comes from the inform Hannon yard so has to be respected. Pella is another to note in the market. He is relatively unexposed with only 6 runs under his belt and will be winning in the near future. But for the winner we return to Johannian.
