Mount Ephram, Lamh Eile and Society Music look to be the principles in the opener and the vote is given to Mount Ephram. The selection has not been the most straightforward character to date but he responded well to the fitting of cheekpieces last time at Musselburgh when defeating Lady Hopeful, and with that success under his belt he may now be capable of going on to better things. Lamh Eile won well on her debut at Ayr when defeating Hymn of Victory. That was not the strongest of races but she won in good style and with the extra furlong also in her favour here she has to be a leading player. Society Music won well last time at Musselburgh when defeating Forfeiter, but she did get the run of the race that day and the suspicion is that she is probably better over further. Of the remainder, Tequila Sheila won well last time out and is from a shrewd yard so is worth a second look in the market, but for the winner we return to Mount Ephram.
