Ego Trip looks the one to beat in this handicap with Vicario and Ile Facile the pair we fear the most. The selection has been in good form of late and he won well when beating Charlie Bear at Newcastle before finishing third behind Richtee at Redcar last time. The step up in trip should suit and with conditions to suit he is the one they all have to beat. Vicario ran well behind the Sir Mark Prescott hotpot Elusive Dream at Folkestone in less than ideal conditions last time and this quicker ground could bring about further improvement. However, he may prove to be better over further and for that reason he is opposed. Ile Facile ran well behind Jimmy Byrne at Haydock on Sunday but this trip could stretch the stamina of this colt and for that reason he is taken on. Our Emmy Lou should not be discounted easily now that Sir Mark Prescott's string have started to fire, but for the winner we return to Ego Trip.
