An open affair in which many have claims and we will side with Double Bill ahead of Royal Rock and Big Noise. Paul Cole's colt has been well-supported on his two starts so far and found the quicker ground to his liking at Leicester last month. Richard Quinn has been on fire since returning to the saddle and whilst the horse will need to have improved to score off this mark of 79 on his handicap debut, he looks worth siding with. A powerfully built, striking individual, the feeling is that there is plenty more to come. Big Noise gets weight from the whole field but it remains to be seen what he beat on his debut at Yarmouth (second had been stuffed on his previous two starts). Royal Rock let favourite backers down last time out but the pair were some way clear and this drop in trip looks ideal as he tends to race freely. Brian Meehan's Roshanak also drops in trip which looks a good idea based on his handicap debut when he too failed to see out the trip fully. Sonoverrgun experiences quick ground for the first time but his sire Noverre handled it well so a big run could be on the cards. Plenty of unexposed sorts here and the market will help guide, however Double Bill looks like a horse to follow in the coming months and gets the nod.
